My work was first chosen for an exhibition at the tender age of 14! My paintings have been exhibited as far afield as London, the North East, Kent, Sussex and Bath.

I am often asked about the influences on my work. I have no hesitation in answering that the time I spent in Provence and the south of France generally has been one of the greatest influences on my career, in particular the works of the great impressionist, expressionist and abstract artists. Their influence can be seen in my own paintings, which are all unique and original creations reflecting my own impressions and expressions.

I choose the medium of oil as a way of expressing mood and emotion through colour and texture - the blending and layering of colours is an important way of achieving this.

My abstract works are popular for boardroom and restaurant commissions as well as for the home, as the eye never tires of them for it is always finding something new.
